Microfiltration technology consists of a combination of conventional activation processes and a very effective separation of solid (activated sludge) and liquid phases (treated wastewater). The mechanically pre-treated water is aerated, biologically treated and later, due to membranes, cleaned of all solid substances bigger than the size of membrane pores, which are 0.000035 mm. The quality of the outlet water is very high. Due to the membrane properties it is possible to remove viruses, bacteria, colloids, proteins, etc. The water can be reused for washing cars, watering plants, etc.
The devices according to capacity are:
• BP ASP K ULTRA – waste water treatment plant used for treating waste waters of the family houses, small companies, hotels with the capacity up to 25 PE, etc.
• BP ASP N ULTRA – used for treating communal waste waters for hotels, small villages, factories with the capacity up to 1,000 PE.
For one population equivalent (PE) the estimated amount of wastewater is 150 l per day and the BOD5 is 60g per day, which is in conformity with the European norm EN 12566-3 and 12255. Guaranteed outlet values are BOD5 5 mg/l, COD 25 mg/l.
